General InformationATTENTION:
There shall be no visits to the Chamber on December 28th and January 4th. All visits are subject to the Chamber’s activity and may be suspended in case of institutional or parliamentary events, which will be notified here. In August and public holidays there are no visits. All visits are free of charge and in Spanish. We would like to inform you that it is not allowed to access the parliamentary premises with sharp and/or cutting objects, nor with containers containing liquids, gels or similar. During the tour, you will be allowed to take pictures of the different rooms and of the Chamber’s heritage, bearing in mind that you must not alter the course of the visit and respecting at all times parliamentary activity. Likewise, you must refrain from taking pictures of the Chamber’s staff and security personnel. Guided visitsAll visits require prior booking. Individual visits to the Palace of the Congress of DeputiesFor the visits on Friday at 12 pm and Saturday at 10.30 am, 11.15 am and 12 pm, reservations can be made from 13 pm on the Saturday prior to the visit through this link: Booking form for individual guided tours. ID or Passport is required to enter the Congress of Deputies. Groups’ visits to the Palace of the Congress of DeputiesMonday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm and from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm and Friday from 9.00 am to 1:00 pm. Social organizations (schools, cultural groups, associations…) can ask for a visit through mail, e-mail or fax, providing the following information: -Name of organization Requests should be mailed to: Unidad de Guías Secondary schools students must be 12 or older. The registration deadline shall start sixteen days before, Saturday at 1pm This visit does not include the Hemicycle nor any of the Palace’s halls. The standing exhibition shall be located at the designated place in the basement of the Palace of the Congress of Deputies. It is located under the Plenary Sittings Hall, made up of three rings, a vault and three halls. The topic DEMOCRACY shall occupy the external ring, PARLIAMENT the intermediate and CONSTITUTION the inner one. ID or Passport is to be presented at the entrance. Visit to the exhibition Art in the fight for freedom.The exhibition Art in the fight for freedom, organized by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, together with the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes, shall be held at the Congress of Deputies, at the building located at Carrera de San Jerónimo 36, from November 28, 2024, to March 21, 2025. From December 2, the exhitibion can be visited from Monday to Friday, working days, from 10am to 8pm. The latest time for bookings shall be 7pm. Bookings can be made by an adult, who may be accompanied by three persons maximum (children under 14 shall not be counted; maximum 5 minors per request). The booking form shall be open the first day of each month (for bookings for the second fortnight of the month) and on the 15th (bookings for the first fortnight of the next month), at 10am. No prior reservation is required for disabled individuals or persons over 65, who may be accompanied by one person, provided the capacity is not full.
