Information on the submission of credentials 

Once held the general elections scheduled for July 23, 2023, the constituent sitting of the Congress of Deputies shall take place on August 17, whereby elected Deputies, in order to perfect their full status as Deputies, shall take their oath or promise of allegiance to the Constitution. To such end, and pursuant to article 20 (1) of the Standing Orders of the Congress of Deputies, they must have previously submitted before the General Secretariat the credential issued by the relevant body of the electoral administration, and duly completed their declaration of activities according to the Organic Act on the General Electoral Regime.  

For this purpose, the General Secretariat has arranged the following rooms for the reception of the Deputies. All rooms are located in Extension Building I
